How We Started
Two things happened that spurred the start of Barkitec. The CEO’s home was broken into through a flimsy, plastic dog door and her elderly dog, Bo, had developed hip dysplasia. The search was on for a dog door that would provide security and was handicapped accessible, but it couldn’t be found. So she designed and handcrafted the door and went ahead and made it a stunning addition to any home while she was at it.
